Trey Woodfin was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University, Summa Cum Laude, and after, attended the University of Alabama School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude. Following law school, he and his wife moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where Trey practiced as an Assistant Public Defender for approximately four years. During his time as a public defender, Trey gained valuable trial and appellate experience. As a public defender, he tried cases ranging from misdemeanor DUI to Attempted Murder.
In 2015, Trey and his family returned to Huntsville, Alabama and he joined the firm soon after. Since becoming a member of the firm, Trey has been involved with multiple capital murder cases and tried cases involving charges such as Trafficking Controlled Substances and Murder. Additionally, he has handled a wide range of criminal appeals on behalf of our clients.
